You can access e-books in the following ways:

  • via the library home pageUse the search box to search by title, author or keyword. For specific titles, try putting the title in quotation marks, like this: "Research Methods for Undergraduates". Once you have found the title you want to read, follow the links to 'connect to ebook'.
  • via the e-books databases. Below is a list of the e-books databases. All the books on these databases are linked to from the Library Catalogue and Summon.

EBSCOhost eBook Collection

VLeBooks

 

Please make sure you are logged into iCity first. If you're not logged in, you may see this screen:

if you do see this screen, then you should ignore the left half of the screen and in the right hand part of the screen  where it says 'Find Your Organisation', type in 'Birmingham City University' and this will take you to the normal login screen via iCity.
