Coronavirus information: Current information about the university policy regarding Coronavirus can be found here and will be updated as the situation develops. The university announced on 17th March 2020 that we will transition to online teaching immediately. UPDATE 23rd March 2020, 10pm: The university buildings are closed until further notice with immediate effect. There will be no library service on campus, but we are committed to providing an online service with an extensive range of ebooks, journals and specialist databases, as well as 24/7 chat.

Renewals and fines

From Thursday 19th March you can renew your books online for 8 weeks. Fines will not be charged from this date, but fines incurred prior to this date will still be payable.

Borrowing and returning books

Due to the announced closure of all university buildings (10pm, Monday 23rd March 2020) there will be no borrowing or return facility available until further notice. Please contact us using the library chat service if you have any concerns or questions.

We apologise but we cannot fulfil any paper-based inter-library loan requests at this time (books or printed chapters/journals). Only electronic journals will be requested. Please keep any ILL books you have on loan until further notice and a member of our team will contact you.

Reservations

From Thursday 19th March you will be unable to place any new reservations. Unfortunately we cannot honor existing reservations due to the closure of the university buildings.
