You can borrow a laptop for an initial 6 hours, then extend this for an additional 12 hours. Laptops can be borrowed from the following locations:

  • City South, in the courtyard area by the Library entrance
  • Curzon,
    • ground floor - Curzon B opposite The Hive
    • level 1 - next to the ASK Student Hub, and also next to the security desk outside the library
  • Margaret St, Reception next to Security
  • Millennium Point, Third Floor Social Area
  • Parkside, Level 2 Bridge
  • Vittoria St, Adjacent to the Faculty Office

If you wish to take the laptop off site, you will need to log on whilst on site to ensure your personal profile is synchronised to the laptop. If you cannot log in, please see a member of staff at the nearest IT help desk.

For any queries regarding laptop loans please contact the IT Help Desk on 0121 331 6543 or via e-mail at ithelp@bcu.ac.uk. You can find more information at IT's Laptop Loans Page.
