  • Check in the orchestral sets catalogue (available at the Conservatoire Library Help Desk) whether the library stocks the set you require.

  • Library staff will check whether it is available to be loaned out for the dates needed.

  • If the set is available for the dates needed, you then need to fill out a blue order card – available at the Conservatoire Library Help Desk.

  • Once the blue card has been completed, your set will available for collection within 48 hours.

If it is not stocked by the library, it will need to be hired.

  • You will need to pay for the cost of this yourself if your performance is not going to be an official Conservatoire performance (if so, the hire cost will need to be submitted as part of your bid).

  •  Contact Francis Firth with a) your name and borrower number, b) the set you require for your performance, and c) the dates you require the set for – the first rehearsal date and the performance date.
