The Centre for Academic Success runs workshops and gives advice in 1-1 and small group tutorials to all University students on a variety of subjects including English, study skills, maths and other technical topics.
The team won't:
- Proofread and edit for you (but we can show you the type of errors you are making)
- Tell you what to write about, or which answer is correct
- Tell you what mark you will get
- Answer technical questions on assignments which are going to be assessed (but we may go through a similar question with you)
You can book a tutorial via the online booking system. When you attend the tutorial please bring any notes or coursework that you require assistance and support with. A maximum of 3 students per tutorial is allowed.
Students are entitled to one tutorial per week. Maths tutorials are up to 60 minutes and all other tutorials are 30 minutes long.
At the City Centre campus the Centre for Academic Success is located on Level 3 of the Millennium Point building. At the City North campus the centre is located in the Kenrick Library. The Centre is open from 9am – 6pm from Monday to Thursday and 9am – 5pm on Friday.
