For access to the NEC Digital Library please email the Library Systems and Resource Administration team using your BCU email address for an email invitation to register for a username and password using the steps outlined below.
From the NEC Contracts homepage click on login/register.
Enter and confirm your BCU email address as a new user and click on the register now button.
Your email address / username will be pre-populated with your BCU email address. Enter the following personal information:
- Title
- First name
- Last name
- Telephone number (BCU students please enter 0121 331 5000)
- Job Title (BCU students please enter student)
Provide and confirm a password, enter the security code and click on the continue button. You do not need to provide a membership number or membership password.
Search for Birmingham as the company name, select Birmingham City University from the list of company search results and click on the continue button.
Check the company details are correct and click on the continue button.
Read the privacy policy. You can opt out of the marketing correspondence.
Read and accept the terms and conditions using the tickbox and click on the continue button.
Check your BCU email inbox for an email with the subject NEC account activation. Click on the activate account link contained within the email to complete your My NEC account set-up.
To sign in to the NEC Digital Library go to the NEC Contracts homepage, click on login/register and login as a returning user.
