If you encounter the following error message when attempting to access an e-Book on ProQuest's Ebook Central platform, please try the advice outlined below.

Copy and paste the following URL into the web browser where you experienced the error:

  • https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/clearcookie/clearcookie.html

Once your web browser has refreshed, you should be able to access Ebook Central error free.

Alternatively, please try one or more of the following:

  1. Clear your web browser history, cache, and cookies.
  2. Clear your web browser cache and cookies specifically for Ebook Central.
  3. Use an incognito web browser window.
  4. Use a different web browser.
  5. Access the e-Book by going directly to Ebook Central using the link from our A-Z Databases list.
