These databases contain financial and company information

  • Croner-i Accounting information; includes: GAAP 2004; all UK accounting standards in full text, all UK auditing standards in full text, as well as Business Focus Module* and Company Reporting**.  Click on Croner-i Library link

* Business Focus provides access to 100 detailed sector profiles containing information on areas relevant to practitioners. Access is via the Practice Management link.

** Company Reporting is an independent research service which reports on the constantly changing IFRS financial reporting practices of public companies. Access information.

  • FAME A financial database made up of 1.7 million UK and Irish companies, public and private.  Up to 10 years of financial history for each company.
  • Marketline Advantage Market information across the Automotive & Logistics, Consumer, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Healthcare and Technology sectors
  • Mintel Provides access to full-text consumer research reports. (Automotive, Beauty, Drink, Food, Health, Leisure, Media, Clothing and Footwear, Home, Technology,Travel).
  • Nexis® Global and UK news, business information and market intelligence.
  • Passport Business intelligence on countries, companies, markets and consumers worldwide.

For journal articles you can use the Library search  but for more precise searching you may want to search these databases individually.
