The Centre for Academic Success provides workshops and gives advice in 1-1 and small group tutorials to all University students on a variety of subjects including English, study skills, maths and other technical topics. They also produce a number of study guides.

The study guides are grouped in five areas:

• Writing
• Grammar
• Speaking
• Study skills (includes critical thinking, reading and writing)
• Mathematics and statistics

Students from the Health, Education and Life Sciences Faculty students at City South Campus can get support from the Academic Development Department (ADD).

For help finding relevant books, journal articles and other information for your assignment you can ask to speak to a librarian at the Library Help Desk or arrange a tutorial with the relevant subject librarian.
