We provide an alternative format scanning services for students who have difficulties accessing/reading print material.

To qualify for this service, students must be registered with the Disability Support Team.

We can assist by sourcing accessible electronic copies (where possible) of library stock in several ways:

  • Providing accessible copies via RNIB Bookshare
  • Providing you with an RNIB Bookshare account, enabling you to download books at your convenience
  • Contacting publishers to request alternative formats
  • Scanning books / book chapters on your behalf and converting them to electronic text

Please note, any material provided is for your personal / research use only and must not be shared.
