The ClinicalKey Student Bookshelf App is available to install for free on iPhones, iPads and Android devices.
You can use the App to access ClinicalKey Student: Midwifery e-books, online and offline, and as with the online version of the bookshelf, you can use the App to:
Add highlights
Add notes
Add bookmarks
Create flashcards
Have text read aloud
Before using the App you will need to have added e-books to the online version of your bookshelf in ClinicalKey Student: Midwifery. You will also need to add any new e-books to the online version of your bookshelf before they can be viewed in the App.

How do I sign in to the App?
After installing the App on your device you will need to sign in to the App for the first time while on campus and when connected to the BCU network, by following the steps outlined below:
Click on sign in
Click on nursing users log in here
Scroll down for more options and click on log in via your institution
Search for and click on the link for Birmingham City University
Sign in with your BCU email address and password
When using the App for the first time, to view the contents of your bookshelf, sign out and then in again to synchronise it with the online version of your bookshelf.
The App should then always automatically synchronise with the latest contents of your bookshelf.
Click on the cover image of an e-book to open the online reader in the App.
