As a first time user, before you can access the Fashion and Race Database please follow the registration steps outlined below to register for an account.
Click on the register with the Fashion and Race Database button.
From the Fashion and Race Database account registration web page for Birmingham City University, tick the checkbox to confirm that you have read and accepted FRD's subscriber terms of use.
Enter the following details:
Email address (please use your BCU email address)
Choose your password
Confirm your password
Click on the initialize your account button.
A confirmation page will display to confirm your Fashion and Race Database account registration.
You will also receive a confirmation email from the Fashion and Race Database.
After you have created an account with the Fashion and Race Database, you have the option to log in without your password. To do so, click the "Or go passwordless" button on the Login page.
Then type in your BCU email address and click the "Send me the link" button.
You will then receive an email from the Fashion and Race Database. This email will contain a code that you can enter into the box and then click "Submit".
Alternatively, the email will also contain a link. If you would like to use the Fashion and Race Database on the device you are viewing the email on, you can click on the link to open the database on that device, with you already logged-in.
