Turnitin (UK) is the online text matching service to which the University subscribes. It is primarily used to generate Originality Reports for student coursework, assignments and dissertations in order to check for possible plagiarism and the accuracy of references.

For more information go to the Moodle site for Turnitin. There is a section on how to interpret your originality report.

The library does not manage the Turnitin site, but if you have any questions about using Turnitin, please contact Bev Cole.
