Turnitin (UK) is the online text matching service to which the University subscribes. It is primarily used to generate Originality Reports for student coursework, assignments and dissertations in order to check for possible plagiarism and the accuracy of references.

For more information go to the Moodle site for Turnitin. This contains a link which you can use to submit your draft report for originality checking.

Advice to staff on how to enable Turnitin for assignments and what to expect when using it and advice for students on how to use Turnitin and interpret similarity reports is on iCity.
