On 5th August 2025 our online resources on the EBSCOhost platform will migrate to a new user interface and the current user interface will be withdrawn.

If you have used a MyEBSCO account to organise your saved research, the following will not be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface:

Continue reading for actions you might want to take so that you can record and re-create your saved research in the new EBSCOhost user interface.

To access your MyEBSCO account, visit our A-Z of Databases list and click on the link for any EBSCOhost database.

Click on the sign in option.

Click on the folder option.

Search alerts

Your saved alerts will not be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface.

Prior to the migration you may want to sign in to your MyEBSCO account to make a record of your search alerts.

Watch the Creating Search Alerts on the New EBSCO User Interfaces tutorial for help with using your record to re-create search alerts.

Alternatively, your saved searches will be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface, and can also be used to re-create some of your search alerts.

 

Journal alerts

Your journals alerts will not be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface.

Prior to the migration you may want to sign in to your MyEBSCO account to make a record of your journal alerts or use journal alerts delivered to your inbox or RSS Feed reader to make a record.

Alternatively, visit the How can I download the data from MyEBSCO custom folders in the classic EBSCO interfaces help page for details of a report you can download from the new EBSCOhost user interface. 

The report contains a record of your journal alerts and is available to download up until 31st December 2025.

Persistent links to searches

Your persistent links to searches will not be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface.

Prior to the migration you may want to sign in to your MyEBSCO account to make a record of your persistent links to searches.

Watch the Advanced Searching on the New EBSCO User Interfaces tutorial and then read the Saving Searches in the New EBSCO User Interfaces help page to use your record to re-create and then save any searches.

 

Custom folders

Any custom folders you have created will not be migrated to the new EBSCOhost user interface. 

Prior to the migration you may want to sign in to your MyEBSCO account to check if you have created any custom folders.

The report contains a record you can use to re-create your custom folder content in the new EBSCOhost user interface and is available to download up until 31st December 2025.
