For access to BCIS Online, please follow the steps outlined below to register for your own personal username and password.

Locate the registration information for BCIS Online on our Other Usernames and Passwords web page and click on the Register with BCIS Online button.

Enter your First name.

Enter your Last name.

Enter the first part of your BCU email address.

For example, if your email address is Joseph.Priestley@bcu.ac.uk, enter Joseph.Priestley


Use the drop down menu to select the second part of your BCU email address.

For example, if your are a staff member select @bcu.ac.uk or if you are a student select @mail.bcu.ac.uk


Click on the Request access button.

A confirmation page will be displayed, with a message asking your to check your mailbox.

Check your mailbox for an email with the subject line You have been invited to join BCIS.

Click on the Get started button contained within the body of the email.

Choose and confirm a password.

The BCIS password requirements are:

  • A minimum of 8 characters
  • One lower case letter
  • One upper case letter
  • One digit
  • One special character

Click on the Register button.

A welcome page will be displayed, click on Get started to begin answering a series of registration questions.

Tick the checkbox if you want to opt out of receiving any marketing communications.

Click on the Submit button to complete your registration.

A confirmation page will be displayed.
