The Centre for Academic Success (CAS) runs workshops and gives advice in 1-1 sessions and small group tutorials to all University students on a variety of subjects including English, study skills, maths and other technical topics.

The team won't:

  • Proofread and edit for you (but they can show you the type of errors you are making)
  • Tell you what to write about, or which answer is correct
  • Tell you what mark you will get
  • Answer technical questions on assignments which are going to be assessed (but may go through a similar question with you)

CAS are based on the first floor of the Curzon Building in Room C142, overlooking the Success+ Assessment Centre.

You can book a tutorial via the online booking system

You can contact the CAS team at: success@bcu.ac.uk

Students from the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences (City South Campus) can get support from the Academic Development Department.
